“We’ve been to a lot of different places, and Charter Senior Living is the first place where I feel comfortable with my loved one’s care. There have been no red flags. They have a really nice bistro, and the dining looks good when we’ve visited during mealtimes. They are very safety conscious, which is what we needed. It’s such a pleasure to have my loved one at a place where I don’t have to be there every day, and I don’t have worries that they will mistreat her. We’re very pleased!”

“We had to place my mom in Memory Care during the pandemic. Charter is warm and caring, with fun activities for the residents. Once things eased up, we eventually got in and saw how lovely her new home was with the renovation. I truly believe it’s important for people, especially with dementia, to be surrounded in a beautiful place. Thank you to the staff for all your help. I am very appreciative.”

“I visited Charter Senior Living of Hazel Crest, and it was very nice. It was very clean and well decorated. It looked like they had a professional decorator come in and do everything. Everybody was very professional, very nice, and pleasant. I was impressed that the rooms all have flat-screen TVs and were very nice. Their dining area was very homey, and I liked it. I got to see the laundry area, the hair salon, the activity area, and everything they had to offer.”

“Charter Senior Living of Hazel Crest was clean. Everybody was very polite and nice. I got to speak to a few of the residents, workers, and the administrator of the building. I was stressing the importance of making sure that my mother-in-law was in a place where they had well-trained individuals who could deal with her particular case of memory loss. It was like being at home, and that’s what I loved about this community. It’s one level, and they have different areas for the different types of assistance you need, whether you need Independent Living, Assisted Living, or Memory Care, and I like that particular layout. It didn’t give you that feeling of an apartment building; this community gave me the feeling of actually walking into your own home.”
